Being Home

Wow... Things change and yet stay the same.  Glad to be home yet I miss waking up in Alaska.  Anyway.  I've posted a new track I've been tweaking.

Late Night in Alaska

As I write and upload photos from my camera to an FTP site, it's 1:06 am (Alaskan Time zone). Then again, I'm a night time person. I like the feeling of being the only one awake.

I've been up in Juneau visiting my Uncle and his family. On my trip I've done many things. I've been to the Mendenhall glacier and got to touch the front of it.  It’s much larger when standing next to it than seeing it from a photo.  We took a ferry ride for 6 hours to Pelican.  It’s a village on stilts and wood-plank sidewalks at the base of a huge set of mountains.

I've also written some new stuff for the electric and acoustic guitar.  These new tracks are coming along just fine, but I'm afraid about whether or not people will enjoy them as much as my electronic songs.

When I get back to Michigan we’re going to work on a music video for one of the songs of my latest recording. We plan on filming in Upper Michigan.  I seriously cannot wait. I mean, it's been fun up here, but I really am starting to miss my family in Michigan... I'M CLOSER TO RUSSIA THAN HOME!!!
